2 DAYS until we leave!

Eek!! It's came so fast, yet so slow!  We are so ready to get to Moscow and swoop up our son and tell him how much he is loved and wanted.  Hannah will be in good hands with the grandparents and aunts and luckily she will be able to continue her normal daily routine at home.  We are mostly packed and ready to head out Saturday morning! Camera's are charges, paperwork is organized, and we have every medicine imaginable for any ailment possible!  We have our appointment on Monday sometime with the MOE to recieve our 'official' referral.  The bummer part is, we may not get to see him until Wednesday or Thursday.  This sucks, but it is what it is.  We'll get to love on him no matter what! : )
I'll try to update as much as possible from Russia, but we'll see how well that goes. We should have internet, just not sure how reliable.

Paka paka (bye-bye) for now!

  1. Melissa!

Good Luck!!! I can't wait to hear all about your trip and your time with your little guy! Just think in less than a week you'll be holding him in your arms!!

We also had our appt with the ministry on Monday and we had to wait until Thursday to meet Brayden! It's hard but just keep busy! I will pray that you guys get in on Wednesday! J Go shopping on Arabat Street, have lunch at the Hard Rock, visit Red Square, etc. If Boris is your driver he'll keep you busy and take great care of you guys!! Either way, when you finally meet your son it will all be so worth it, AND you'll get two visits a day on Thursday and Friday!! (Which will be awesome!) Know I am thinking of you and can't wait to talk to you when you get back!!! So exciting!!!

    1. Thanks!! I'm hoping we get the same driver! We need the guidance! Luckily there is another AAC client going on the first trip as well, same baby home!, and same hotel! So at least we'll kinda 'know' someone there : )

  2. Safe travels! Enjoy every minute. If you see Olga, tell her the Bedzyk's say hello! She is wonderful!

  3. Sounds daunting, but you will actually like that first day to catch up on your exhaustion. I'm sure you're not sleeping now, because you're nervous and excited both! best wishes to you all!
