The Room Reveal

Ok so maybe one more post before our trip!  We finished James' room tonight, just in time to get prints of it for our court album. Here it is! We just need James, more BOY toys and a lot of clothes! :)

4 days!!!

We leave in 4 days for court!!!!!! Well this day is almost over so really THREE!! So excited! We're packing, cleaning, I'm so nesting right now getting things ready....next post will be from Moscow! We can't wait to get this trip done so we can focus on the LAST trip to bring James home!!! Yes one more trip the end of August to bring him home AND then I can post pics of his sweet and precious face!

Happy 2nd Birthday Hannah!

Well we have a 2 year old now! Hannah turned 2 on Saturday and we had her Minnie Mouse themed birthday party at our house. It was HOT but I think everyone had a good time! There was a good turnout of family and friends and Hannah was spoiled rotten with her gifts! Here's a few favorite pics from that day....although i missed getting one of the three of us : (

Happy 1st Birthday James!

Oh baby boy how we wish you could be here with us to celebrate your birthday! We love you so much and pray that you got a lot of extra loving today!!!! You are so loved by so many already and we are ready to bring you HOME!!

Court Date!!!

We received the court date call today!! We will be standing in front of the Russian judge on July 17th.....yep we leave 5 WEEKS from now. Not what we expected (we expected much sooner) but we are so excited and blessed to be on the books!!!!! Visa applications in process, flights are booked...finally, yes that's what I did ALL day....minus a trip to the pediatric dentist...Hannah chipped a tooth. Ouch. But it is booked and we'll be getting our hotel arrangements this weekend! Its looking like we'll be bringing James home the end if August now. Please keep the prayers coming!!! Pray for safe travel and a 'Da' (Yes!) from the judge!

Delay update...

We finally got some good news from Russia. James' paperwork is complete. Our dossier will be in the hands of one lucky Russian judge next Thursday so we should hear something by the end of the following week...hopefully. Not the timeline we wanted but guess what? We aren't in charge...God is!

Delays...

So found out yesterday there is a delay in James' paperwork on the orphanage end. Agency said they should have it by the end of May. Only then we could get a court date. So now we are looking at mid June for court IF the paperwork can get completed. Please pray that is does!! And while your at it...pray it gets done sooner!! The lady we travelled with got her date yesterday so this was disappointing news that we have to wait a few weeks longer. Yesterday stunk, but our time will come...
