And just as I suspected...we are not criminals! So what does this mean?? Our homestudy can finally be completed and sent off to the USCIS for approval to bring in a little one to the states! Big and final step for our paperwork!! It's about to be the 'sit and wait' phase of the adoption. Never been so ready to start waiting!! ; )

Congrats on being cleared! :) We just got our FBI clearances today, too! I'm trying to figure out what to do with them now though. We have to submit two notarized copies and they both need apostilles. I'm definitely ready to WAIT! Can't wait to hear more as you move forward.
ReplyDeleteNice! The sit and wait period is the worst. While it's not as stressful as the paper-chasing phase, it was way more frustrating to me. I felt better when I had things to check off my list. My advice: find a project! :)
